ALNS’ English Verbs – Future Tense Practice Template offers a summary view of the future tense verb forms in English.  It also provides space for learners to practice and consolidate their understanding of verb tenses.  Adults can often verbalise the tenses well but find it challenging to identify all of the verb group.  This template helps you address such things whilst reinforcing your learners’ knowledge.  Visual summary plus four practice pages.

Description

Understanding all the options for future tense verbs really expands our use of English.  Discussing such things also helps literacy & numeracy teachers guide students in creating texts.  This, in turn, positively affects a learner’s ability to express him/herself.

This document serves as a companion to ALNS’ English Verb Tenses – An Overview.  Practice templates are available for past and present verb tenses, too.  This resource summarises the future verb tenses and invites learners to practise them.  It doesn’t include future verb tense theory; it portrays the relativities between the tenses.  It’s particularly useful with students who can use English verbs well but need to learn what they consist of.  Doing this can help L&N teachers plan and deliver English verb classes well.  ALNS’ English Verbs – Future Tense Practice Template is available as a .pdf and/or MS Word document.

Due to the nature of the online environment, it is not possible to provide a pre-purchase view of this resource.  You are charged a nominal fee to cover a very small part of its production.  How we stagger teaching and learning is subjective; I am not inferring that mine is the only approach.  My aim in providing this resource is to help you prepare efficiently and revise what you need to.  It is not a lesson plan so you will need to assess its appropriateness in your program.

In purchasing this template, you are permitted to copy and use it in educational and non-commercial settings only if you leave the branding and copyright notices in place.  ALNS’ resources are registered with Australia’s Copyright Agency Limited so this permission extends to government-recognised teaching institutions.  In purchasing this resource, you are not permitted to distribute it freely to your wider networks.  The terms and conditions for downloading, using and modifying this document can be found here.

ALNS’ templates aim to help teachers primarily although many are suitable for learners, too.  None of them, however, substitute the need for you to research and deliver to the needs of your students.

All the best with your teaching!
